Today in Summer Learning I made a Wavey words poster describing summer things I like.
First I wrote on paper to what interests me of sealife.
I like sea creatures,water and plants.
Next I picked my favourite ones to finish my poster.
I enjoyed this activity.

Today for Summer learning I made an orange Origami fish.
First I got all the prodax’s like coloured paper,ruler,scissors and coloured felt pens to make the origami fish.
I watched a video of making a origami fish.
Next I took a photo of my origami fish and have it to it show on my blog post.
I enjoy doing the Art and the summer learning Joumey.
Today in Summer learning I made a poster of a Stonefish .
I used aurves, squiggles and stony patterns.
Stonefishes are found in the coastal regions of Indo- pacific.
They are a venomous fish that have sharp spikes and are camouflage in the sand. They can hurt people when walking in the water.

Once upon a time, there was a princess called Snow White. She lived in a beautiful castle in the deep forest. She was very lonely because her mother had died after being poisoned by the sea witch. Snow White’s father married Red Riding Hood’s mum, bringing the two families together. Red Riding Hood was excited to have a father who would teach her to be safe in the woods.
One day, Snow White wandered around the deep forest searching for Red Riding Hood’s grandma’s cottage. Along the footpath, Little Red Riding Hood saw Snow White picking flowers. Suddenly, a wolf jumped out from behind a tree and said, “What are you doing here, little girls?” To which they nervously replied, “We are off to see Grandma.”
Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood walked away from the wolf to get to Grandma’s. Meanwhile, the wolf ran through the woods quickly to get to Grandma’s house before Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood arrived.

Last Tursday our kapahaka group went to the waipuna Lodge.
We performed for principals from around the clusters of manaiaklani.
we fravelled by bus with exufement.
Mr Johston and Mrs Anderson were waiting for us.
It was really exciting to perform the kapahaka group did awesome.
The people cheered for us with great enjoyment.
Today in kelly sport Ls2 is leaning how to do high jump.
First we got into groups of 2’s and 4’s I was with Haloti, Reece, Daniel.
The each gave us a skipping roppe to practice jumps over it, then raising the rope abit higher.
After that we all got into a line ready to do the high jump. I had to run off then jump over the barlanding on the blue mat.
we also had to run around the court then to clap our partners had.
I enjoyed sports this morning it was fun.
In Art we are learning our cultural roots. Ls2 is drawing a whale Tail representing their culture.
My whale tail has patterns of Maori, Tongan and Irish.
Next I draw my tail on paper with my designs on the inside. I got another piece of paper to trace over from the window.
I got a black vivid to go over my lines I traced then I got some colouring pencils to fill my whale tail. I enjoed creating my whale tail, Im
proud of my cultures and who I am to be.
On Friday Ls2 went to tech we got there we went into our class’s.
First Miss fifita greeted us with a hi5 or fistbump
Next we went into the room got in to a circle we had our karakia then miss fifta showed us a video on plants, we had to look carefully to see life of a flower.
Next we went to our tables and were given a plant or flower to study.
I had a flower to look at in the middle it had little seeds with soft petals.
It smelt like lavender we looked at other flowers which some had no smell. finally miss Fifita gave the class a flower to keep I enjoyed today and I finished off with the Dee fu clap.
I am learning how to solve word problems involving whole numbers.
In maths my group has to work out the equations.
we get different slides that work with numbers.
Some questions can be hard.I try my best to work it out.
In Maths I am learning to Add, subtract, multiply and double with the Number 19.
I do this with my maths group and we have a different number each day.
I like to do maths.
