We are learning to exlore sentence a structure Asimple sentence must have a noun and a verb.
A compound sentence has a subject with a verb.
A conjunction is used with fanboys for,and,nor,but,or,yet,so
A verb is an action while a noun is a name of a thing.
I enjoyed being in pairs with a partner to make a sentence structure.

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed on February 6th 1840 in the Bay of Islands.
The British Crown in England with the Maori Chiefs came together in Partnership,Participation and Protection.

For this activity I created a Matriki star for our class.
First I drew my design on paper after finishing my draft I created it on DLO
Next I used Koru pattevns, stars and green, black, purple colors.
I enjoyed creating my star for matariki.
For this activity we played NFL touch.
First we got into 2 teams the game was to kick the ball to a friend then they pass or punt the ball to get a goal.
Next we got in groups of 3 people to practice high kicks and low kicks, I did some punting with the ball in knocking it like a volleyball hit.
Ienjoyed doing new skills in the sport we played
I can do better by practicing with ball kicks, puting and working.
The Year 7’s with Year 8’s went to Tamaki College for Tech. We travelled by bus every Friday morning.
Our art teacher Mrs Ferguson showed the class how to do mix colours.
First we did the colour wheel to mix 2 colors together like blue and red make purple.
Next we mixed more primary colors to make our wheel bright then gave a quick blow dry over my art.
I enjoyed blending the colours and drawing on my colours wheel.
This week we watched the polar bear video and described what it sounded like, what we saw, what we felt and what we wondered. For I heard I wrote I heard the crashing of a hungry large fierce bear pounding on the roof of the vehicle. For I saw
the angry bear growling through the glass window, my heart was beating like a drum.
For the I felt paralyzed with fear through my uneasy body.
For the I wonder when I will leave this terrifying place, it’s back to hunting for fish and seals. Grumbling in my tummy, hollow like a shell the supplies of grub I should find in the deep blue waters.

This week LS1 went to HPE this morning.
First Miss Tele’a said that Miss White is going to take as out for pe but Miss Tele’a said that group A is going first for pe. Next when group A was finish pe Miss tele’a said that we it’s our trean know for HPE so we need to pack up to go out for pe. She said to go out to pe Miss White said that we have to get our hat’s for pe so we don’t get breant from the sun and then when Miss White. Coach said that we are going to practise for athlateics day and then when coach said that we need to hold the ball. Put the ball next to your neck and put your elbow up and then when i throw the ball it went very far away.
When you throw your ball you have to run and get it to the next person and then it was time to switch. We played a game and then coach said that we have to be in groups too. We where playing the game we need to take there bibs and throw it on the groned.
I need to improve on my throwing. I did well at HPE. I enjoyed doing HPE.
This week for reading we have been leaning about brinstorm.
