PE Skillis

I practised T – Ball skills.

The skills I learnt today were hitting, and running. For example: hitting is hitting the ball.

Firstly we started to practise batting the ball.

Then we started to run from base to base.

Lastly we had to hit the ball and run back to back while the people tried to put the ball on the Tee.

I enjoyed hitting the ball. I need to improve on hitting the ball. I did well on running from base to base.

Summarising On Rua And Te Manu

First we read a book called Rua and Te Manu.

Then Miss White gave us a role play to do. For example, she gave us a card which has a leader, questiner, 3 answers, Disagree, Repeter, and Because, and I need time to think.

Lastly we went onto the summarise template and needed to find 20 keywords and pick 6 key words and write a sentence that flow.

I enjoyed this activity because I like to read active. I did well on being the questionnaire. I need to improve on demonstrating probably.

PE – Rugbe and Rippa

I learned how to pass and catch in rippa rugby.

First I learned how to pass. To pass you need to throw by the side, if your left handed you throw on your left hand.

Next I played a game called relay race. I had to get into group of 3. Then I had to pass ther ball along the lane.

Then I learned how to catch. How to catch is you have to make a W with your hand.

Lastly I played another game called rippa tag. The point of the game is that you have to pull the tags off people.

I enjoyed ripping the tags off. I did well on passing the rugby ball. I need to improve on getting better at passing the ball on the side ways.

Kelly sport

Today for relly sport we played touch rugby.

First we put on our black bands and put the coloured tags.

Next we played a game where we had to take the tags off the black bands.

Later  we played rippa rugby.

we were put into yellow and red teams.

I enjoyed taking peoples tags. I did well chasing others. I need to improve on running away from people.
